The firm that replies first often gets the call back

People looking for a lawyer are often stressed and in a hurry. Many contact several firms at once.

  • You're in court.

A prospective client fills in your website form at 10 a.m. You see it at 4 p.m. By then, they've spoken to another firm.

  • It's after hours.

Someone emails your firm on a Sunday night after a hard week. The reply goes out Monday afternoon. They've moved on.

  • The front desk is stretched.

Your office manager is handling calls, filings and current clients. New inquiries wait in the inbox.

Slow replies can cost you clients. Intakra makes sure the first reply goes out right away, without hiring another person.

How law firm intake works with Intakra

  1. Reply within a minute.

A new inquiry arrives by website form or email. The assistant replies within a minute and says it's an automated assistant for your firm.

  2. Collect the basics.

It asks only for contact details and the general type of case, using case types you define, for example car accident, slip and fall or workplace injury. It doesn't ask for the facts of what happened.

  3. Book the consultation.

It offers open times from your calendar and books the consultation, using the rules you set.

  4. Your firm reviews every lead.

You get a summary of each inquiry. You run your conflict check and decide whether to take the matter.

Designed with legal ethics rules in mind

We designed the law firm setup around the guidance in ABA Formal Opinion 512 on lawyers' use of generative AI. The assistant handles first contact. Your lawyers handle everything that needs judgment.

  • It says it's automated. Every conversation starts by making clear the person is talking to an automated assistant.
  • It's instructed never to give legal advice, and we test this with sample questions before launch. It doesn't assess cases, predict outcomes or suggest what to do. If asked, it says a lawyer will need to answer.
  • It asks only for contact details and case type. It doesn't ask for the facts of the matter. If someone volunteers details, it doesn't ask follow-up questions about them, and they stay in your firm's accounts.
  • Data stays in your firm's accounts. Everything runs on your own accounts and API keys. Client data is never put into free AI tools.
  • Your firm reviews every lead. Nothing is accepted or declined without a person at your firm deciding.
  • No attorney-client relationship. The assistant tells people that contacting the firm this way doesn't create an attorney-client relationship.
  • Not a substitute for conflict checks. Your firm still runs its usual conflict check before any consultation or engagement.

Intakra is not a law firm and doesn't provide legal or ethics advice. Ethics rules vary by state. Your firm stays responsible for reviewing the setup against your state's rules, and we'll adjust the wording and questions to match.

What it connects to

Intakra fits around the tools your firm already uses. We configure it for your practice areas, hours and booking rules.

  • Your website forms. New form submissions get a reply within a minute.
  • Your email. Inquiries that arrive by email get answered from your own address.
  • Your calendar. Qualified inquiries book a consultation in the open slots you choose.
  • Your lead inbox or CRM. Each inquiry and its answers are logged where your team already looks, when your tools allow it.
  • Not phone or text. It doesn't answer phone calls or send text messages.

Your accounts, your data

Everything runs on your own accounts and your own API keys. Your data stays with you. You pay usage directly to the providers on your own accounts. We estimate these costs in your proposal. You grant access from your own accounts, and you can revoke it at any time.

Exact connections depend on the tools you use. We confirm what's possible before you pay anything.

Not ready for a full setup? Start with a written review of how your firm responds to new inquiries today, including after hours.

$149. Your written review arrives within 2 business days of the test. Credited toward your setup fee if you continue.

How the audit works

  1. Request it with the form.
  2. We email you a payment link for $149.
  3. We contact your business the way a new client would (your form or email, including after hours). We tell you the day first, so your team doesn't treat it as a real lead.
  4. Within 2 business days of the test, you get a written review of what happened and what to fix.

What you get

  • A written review of how fast and how well your current intake responds
  • What happens when someone fills in your website form, emails you, or reaches out after hours
  • Where inquiries slow down or go unanswered
  • A prioritized list of fixes, including ones you can make yourself without us

It's yours to keep, whether or not you work with us.

Founding clients

We're a new agency. We don't have case studies yet, and we won't pretend otherwise.

Our first 3 clients get a lower founding price. In return, we ask for an honest case study and testimonial once the system has been running. You approve what we publish. Nothing goes live without your written permission. When we publish it, we'll note that the client received a founding discount.

The founding price is quoted in your proposal.

Who's behind Intakra

Intakra is run by Ahmed, based in Cairo, Egypt. We work with clients remotely, in writing, and in English. Every request you send through this site is read by Ahmed.

How buying works

No sales call needed. Everything happens in writing, on your schedule.

  1. See a demo.

We send a personalized demo built for your type of business, using sample data. Try it whenever suits you.

The demo uses made-up sample inquiries only. No real client data.

  2. Read the proposal.

You get a written proposal: what we'll set up, the price, the timeline and estimated usage costs.

  3. Pay by link.

If it fits, you pay the first 50% through a secure payment link. We start the setup.

Questions from law firms

Will the assistant give legal advice?

No. It doesn't assess cases or suggest next steps. If someone asks a legal question, it explains that a lawyer at the firm will need to answer.

Will prospective clients know it's automated?

Yes. It says so in its first message.

What information does it collect?

Only contact details and the general type of case. It doesn't ask for the facts of the matter.

Where is our data stored?

The system runs in your firm's own accounts, and leads are stored there, not with us. It uses your firm's API keys, and you pay usage directly to the providers.

Does this replace our conflict check or intake review?

No. Your firm reviews every lead and runs its usual conflict check. The assistant only handles first contact and booking.

Is it approved by a state bar?

No. Bars don't approve products like this. We built it around ABA Formal Opinion 512, but your firm should review it against your state's rules. We'll adjust it as needed.

Does it answer phone calls or text messages?

No. It handles website forms and email. It doesn't answer phone calls or send text messages.
